Sage Pastel Partner provides a number of different ways to navigate through the software:
- The Explorer
- The System Navigator
- The Toolbar
- The Menu

You can click on any screenshot below to see it in full screen. After you have viewed it please click on the BACK button in your browser to get back to this screen.
The Explorer view allows you to listings of Customers, Suppliers, General Ledger Accounts and Inventory Items in a table format.
In the screenshot below you can create a tax invoice for a customer by right clicking on that customer and selecting “Tax Invoice”.
The Navigator view is an alternative view which allows you to access commonly used functions.
Using our example of the Tax Invoice you would first click on the Customers Icon on the top and then click on the “Tax Invoice” button.
You can also access functions via the Menu.
To create a tax invoice you would select PROCESS > CUSTOMERS on the menu.
The Toolbar icons provide another way to easily access commonly used functions.
The screenshot below shows where you would access the Tax Invoice function using the Customers icon.
There is a setting (at a user level) to auto-invoke either the Explorer view or the Navigator view so that it always appears automatically when opening the Pastel program.
